About the game
It is the 17th century and the Ottoman Empire is at the height of its power, forming a transcontinental realm stretching across Europe, Asia, and Africa. However, it is locked in a deadly struggle with Venice, for resources and power, centered around the richest of its provinces, crete. You are an impoverished patrician from Venice, exiled in Istanbul. The accidental discovery of a mysterious compass sets you on a course for vengeance against the Ottoman commander responsible for the death of your family and your disgrace.
Vendetta Across Worlds
The Compass is your only chance at finding justice. By day, explore the meticulously recreated Istanbul at its richest and most beautiful, running into characters ripped straight from the pages of history. Meet Ahmed Dede, astronomer, poet, and historian, who played an unlikely role in your hero's past, and a vital ally of Sultan Mehmed IV, whose rule saw the Empire reach its greatest territorial extent.
By night, descend into Fitrat, the realm of dreams where everything is possible. Draw and redraw the course of your destiny, peer into the lives of others, from petty merchants to mighty kings. But beware, the compass can only take you so far. Beyond that, you'll need strength of arms, wits, and a keen eye for secrets.
Overcome, Grow, Conquer
Every time you descend into Fitrat, you have the opportunity to grow stronger and push closer to the truth. Fight enemies trying to keep you from changing fate, using a light RPG system featuring skills, weapons, and armor to build your disgraced patrician the way you like.
But this realm is more than just violence: You'll need to explore in depth, tackle challenging puzzles and show off your agility in platforming sections, if you want to learn the complete truth. The Compass will be your irreplaceable aid.
A Blend of Reality and Fantasy
Compass of Destiny was created using meticulous research, to give you an authentic glimpse into the Ottoman Empire at its peak, challenged for supremacy by the Serene Republic of Venice. The brutal Cretan War defined the balance of power in the Mediterraneans for centuries to come, making it the perfect moment in history to combine with exploring fantasy concepts and the personal struggles of people caught in the middle of a titanic struggle between superpowers.

How to activate
Guide for Xbox Series X|S
Primary — the game is shared with your own profile
- 1Press the Xbox button, open "Profile & system" → "Add or switch" → "Add new" and sign in with the login and password from your order.
- 2Now open "Settings" → "General" → "Personalization" → "My home Xbox" and choose "Make this my home Xbox". This is what shares our games with every profile on your console.
- 3Switch back to your own profile, open "My games & apps" → "Library" and install the game. The internet is only needed for the download.
- 4Launch the game from your own profile: achievements, saves and progress stay yours, and after the installation the game works offline.
Only one console at a time can be the home Xbox for our account — that is the slot you bought. Please do not change the password, the email or the two-factor settings of the account, or the access will be blocked.
Secondary — you play from our account
- 1Press the Xbox button, open "Profile & system" → "Add or switch" → "Add new" and sign in with the login and password from your order.
- 2Open "My games & apps" → "Library", switch to our profile in the top-left corner and install the game.
- 3Launch the game while our profile stays signed in, and keep the console online: the licence is checked over the internet.
- 4Use your own profile for everything else — the game stays available as long as our account is signed in on this console.
Secondary costs less, but it needs a permanent internet connection and our account stays signed in on your console.
Activation code
- 1On the console open "Store" and go to the "Redeem code" section.
- 2Enter the 25-character code from your order and confirm the activation on your own account.
- 3After the activation the code is shown as "Used" — but you can reinstall the game from your library at any time.
